Full of colour, pattern and personality, this twin room was designed to feel joyous and playful while still sitting comfortably within its historic castle surroundings. Scalloped headboards bring a playful twist to a traditional shape, while the red bedside table adds a confident splash of colour. Contrast piping and small print pleated lampshades are those smaller details that make everything feel that little bit more considered and bespoke.

Designed to make an impression, this cloakroom pairs contemporary details with finishes full of texture and character. Hand applied Shikkui plaster gives the walls and ceiling their beautifully imperfect finish, while a floating vanity made from reclaimed timber adds warmth and contrast. Cloakrooms are one of our favourite spaces to have a little fun with as they offer the perfect opportunity to be a little braver with colour and finishes, and when it’s a room almost every guest will see, there’s every reason to make it memorable.

S E R I O U S B U S I N E S S

Set within a characterful barn, this office brings a more contemporary feel to the original space while still allowing all of those beautiful existing details to do their thing. The bespoke dark timber joinery was designed to make a statement, combining concealed storage with open shelving and integrated lighting. Its deeper finish gives the room a slightly masculine feel, softened with warm neutrals, natural textures and touches of pattern throughout. We love the contrast of the clean, contemporary joinery against the old exposed beams, two very different styles that somehow feel completely at home together.

D E T A I L S

Pocket doors connect the bedroom, dressing room and ensuite within the principal suite of this Georgian home, allowing each space to open into the next. Continuing the same window treatment details throughout felt like a natural way to bring these spaces together, whilst still allowing each one to have its own identity.

A decorative border adds a touch of pattern and interest to the fabric, making each piece feel that little bit more bespoke and showing just how much difference the smaller details can make. Whether it’s a decorative trim or contrast piping, we always consider how these details can elevate a fabric or piece of furniture, adding personality and making it feel much more individual to the client and their home… Sometimes it really is all in the details.

W E L L S E A S O N E D

A kitchen made for more than just cooking. Natural oak cabinetry brings warmth and character, while aged brass and bespoke bar stools, upholstered in @thibaut_1886 fabric, bring pattern and personality. Designed for a busy family home, we wanted this space to feel relaxed enough for everyday life, but considered enough to stand the test of time. Somewhere for morning coffees, homework at the island, long dinners and everything in between.

O U T O F O F F I C E

After a summer long heatwave, naturally the bank holiday weekend has arrived with rain... All the more reason for good interiors.

We worked closely with our wonderful clients on this project to create a countryside escape with a character all of its own. A generous dose of pink and playful patterned bespoke stools bring a real sense of joy to the interiors, with plenty of personality and a little unexpectedness along the way. It’s a place for time well spent, whatever the weather.
